You need to have current certification papers for 232 and 7018, all position, unlimited thickness. In addition, you must be able to MIG weld using a wire fed welding system. We are looking for candidates that have at least 5-10 years experience. You must also be willing to work overtime. In addition, since you will be working with our clients in the field, you must have good communication skills. Must have Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (DMV Printout required). DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Deburring using various hand tools while often looking through a microscope. • Perform visual inspection for defects on production parts. • Dimensional inspection under guidance of QA or Manufacturing personnel. • Light assembly and/or forming of machined components • Participate as a team member on Area Improvement Teams. • Assist operating personnel in collecting data • Report production data via hand written forms and/or electronically through a computer. • Other tasks as assigned SPECIFICATIONS (SKILLS AND ABILITIES, KNOWLEDGE) Skills and Abilities • Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions or procedures. • Must be able to use a microscope for up to 10 hours per day • Must possess manual dexterity to effectively handle and deburr small parts • Must be able to lift thirty (30) pounds. • Must have correctable 20/20 vision. • Must be able to be on feet for extended period of time (up to three (3) hours). • Must be able to tolerate contact with cutting fluids and mineral spirits.
